Mozilla is gearing up to make another controversial change in Firefox, this time with a feature that will provide users with what could very well be considered ads.
Called suggestions “from our trusted partners,” based on what you’re searching for, these new listings will begin showing up in Firefox 92, with Mozilla explaining that the whole thing is supposed to improve the searching experience and find a specific site much faster.
Mozilla guarantees no information and data is collected, so in theory, your privacy is just as solid as before.
But of course, not everybody is excited with these suggestions in the address bar, especially because, as you can see in this screenshot provided by Mozilla itself, it makes the UI overall a little bit cluttered.
