Devolver Digital is known for its impressive lineup of quirky indie games, so every time the publisher announces a new title, it’s unlikely that it won’t be good. That being said, the successful publisher announced its latest game, Inscryption is coming from offbeat indie developer Daniel Mullins (Pony Island, The Hex).
Described as an “abominable deck-building roguelike,” Inscryption is coming to PC (via Steam) on October 19. Pre-orders are now open, and a 10% discount is now available for those who buy the game before launch. Those who don’t trust Devolver Digital’s pedigree can download the free demo to get a glimpse at the game’s mechanics.
Speaking of gameplay mechanics, Inscryption is as weird as you’d expect from a game published by Devolver Digital. The game mixes quite a lot of genres, including deckbuilding, horror, roguelike, and puzzles.
